People have greasy hair because of hypersensitivity of sebaceous glands to some hormones. This is a sad fact and you can’t change it. What’s make it even worse is that greasy hair often go hand in hand with hair loss. However, there are some hair care products and methods of treatment that can help to cope with the problem.
Tip 1: Relax your scalp
If the scalp produces too much grease, this happens because of congenital hypersensitivity of sebaceous glands to the hormone testosterone. This sensitivity is more pronounced during puberty. Cosmetics and other hair care treatments can’t significantly change this situation. However, you can prevent further irritation of sebaceous glands that can occur, for example, because of frequent brushing or because of a hot air dryer.
